Something a little different.

After reading Gem's post, I looked through my blog and realised how much it's changed recently. I've been blogging for 3 years now about beauty and make-up with some fashion and lifestyle thrown in. Apart from an awful first blogpost, I've never really introduced myself so here's a little 'about me'.

My name is Sophie, I am a trained make-up artist.

I love everything about Autumn and Winter - cold brisk walks with crunchy leaves, collecting conkers, cosy evenings wearing fluffy socks and reading blogs surrounded by candles and twinkling fairy lights.

I love rainy days spent knitting and drinking hot chocolates, everything Harry Potter and Christmas.

I am 27, 28 in November.

I live with my boyfriend Alex, we have been together for 6 years.

I'm a vegetarian. My favourite foods include pasta, sweet potato, butternut squash, cinnamon and chocolate.

I love list making and try to keep a gratitude list daily.

Tell me a little about yourself?

xx

  1. Loved reading this Sophie! My blog has completely changed beyond recognition since I started too. I always wonder if I share enough/too much/not enough on my blog... Pasta, sweet potato and butternut squash in a creamy tomato sauce is the ultimate dinner, right? ;) And I adore that you keep a daily gratitude list - I think I might take that up! x

    1. Thanks Michelle! That sounds like an amazing dinner, I might have to try and make it! I try to write down 10 things a day that I'm grateful for and I feel so much better when I do! x

  3. I'm Be. I'm 20, 21 in December. I can't believe how old I am. I still feel (and look) like 14. I'm from Spain and I love ice-skating, backing, diy's and shopping. And... pizza! I could live on pizza for the rest of my life.

    1. 21 is still so young! I still look and feel like I'm younger too, I always get ID'd for the lottery in which you have to be 16!
Spain! I'm so jealous, it must be lovely living there. I used to ice-skate when I was younger too! x

  4. Aw this post is soo nice Sophie, loved reading it. You look stunning in the first pic too! Sweet Potato and pasta are also some of my fave foods.

Just read your comment above too about not looking your age, I'm right there with you! A week or so after I had Finlay I popped to Sainsburies to get some paracetamol and the checkout lady asked for ID! I didn't even know you needed ID to buy paracetamol! But if you look UNDER 16 then you do haha. Typical that I didn't have any ID with me and I pretty much started crying on the spot (a combo of lack of sleep and being a new mummy). When I sobbed that I was 24 I think she felt really bad and suggested I try another till. Ironic as she was def younger than me too :/

Ok pretty sure you didn't ask for stories, but there's a little about me and my daily struggles of looking like a fifteen year old haha xx

Oh no! I didn't realise you needed ID for paracetamol either?! At least when we're older we'll look young haha!

  9. I love hearing more about the people behind blogs otherwise they can all become a bit similar. I love Autumn and Winter too but they don't hang around for very long in Sydney.
