A Seasonal Switch Up For Spring

I adore the idea of switching up your decor for a new season - replacing ornaments and wintry hues with pieces more suited for spring/summer. I thought I would share a few things that I've switched out this year and a few ways to freshen up your home for spring!

Decor - Trinkets, Ornaments & Pieces.
I've introduced a gilded glass frame and filled it with a pressed colourful leaf to brighten up my shelves - I'm planning to add a few pressed flowers too! In winter, you can switch them out with ivy or holly leaves for a festive touch. They're so versatile!
I also added a dreamy mirror to my shelves, it's ideal for the warmer months - it looks like sun rays! I switched out my star lights for it, placing them aside until the colder months. The gold mirror really brightens up the room and adds an light, airy vibe to my living room - it's so pretty!
Switch Out Fairylights For Flowers
Ok, I definitely keep a set or two of fairylights out all year round - I can't resist twinkling lights on a cosy rainy day or evening! But flowers give that same cosy, homely aesthetic if your not a fan of fairylights all year round.
Flowers can really help to brighten up the place throughout spring, I've been picking up affordable bunches from markets, supermarkets and scattering them round the home!
Candles
I like to opt for fresh, floral scents to burn in spring. Diptyque candles are such luxe picks and so I like to save them to use for a treat. I usually light mine on a Sunday, after cleaning with the window cracked open for a fresh breeze, a tea in hand and a good book! Or, I love lighting them for a pampering afternoon whilst painting on a fresh mani and flicking through Pinterest! For a heavenly floral bouquet of red roses try Diptyque Roses, Diptyque Baies is a favourite for me at this time of the year too, with delicate rose and fresh blackcurrant leaves - it's divine!

Bedding & Loungewear
Crisp new bedding, fresh sheets and satin soft pillowcases - is there anything better?! I just love this range from The White Company, H&M home have some beautiful blush sets too!

Any excuse to buy new pyjamas, a new season calls for floaty, lighter fabrics, shorts and cute prints. Fleecy sets and thick festive pairs are tucked away in drawers and floral picks and lighter hues appear in stores again! This cosy set is ideal for spring - a long oatmeal top paired with shorts with an adorable pink pom pom trim! Also, this pink cactus set is unreal - it's so so soft!
