With March came the spring equinox, longer, lighter days, delicate pink blossoming tree's and floaty spring dresses trickling into stores again. I thought that I would share five loves this March - five things, that I've fallen for of late!
Skincare Finds, Old And New
This month, after a uphill battle with my skin, I turned to a few old favourites to help me out. A mixture of hayfever, the change in weather and probably too much sugar to blame, my complexion felt lacklustre, was blemish prone and dehydrated.
The Origins Ginzing Moisturiser is my holy grail day lotion, it glides over the skin like a dream and boosts radiance whilst leaving the skin soft and nourished. I tend to mix a couple of drops of the heavenly Oskia Restoration Oil* in with it when needed for added hydration and an all round skin treat! I've also discovered a new favourite - the Bioderma Sebium H20 Purifying Cleansing Micelle Solution. I adore the Sensibo version, but opted for this affordable duo pack instead - it helps to regulate sebum for clearer skin and removes all traces of make up!
Touches Of Gold
From gilded glass frames to golden mirrors, I've fallen for pretty metallic accents to add a light, airy feel to each room. This round, sun-like mirror has been brightening up my shelves, a gold frame or two displaying leaves and blooms also adding a pop of colour! Recently, I splurged on this gorgeous gold mirrored jewellery box, it's such a pretty piece, and ideal for storing my jewellery!
Asos & Primark are winning at loungewear this spring. These deliciously soft, pink cactus pyjamas are quite possibly my favourite pair ever, they're so comfy it's unreal! I love this pom pom set too - although they come up quite large, so I'd recommend to size down! This Primark 'Weekend Vibes' jumper has also been a favourite of mine too, soft and fluffy on the inside, it's perfect for the chilly nights - and for £5, you can't really go wrong!
Whether it's spending time knitting a cream and peach speckled blanket whilst listening to Ed Sheeran's new album on repeat, re-reading A Court Of Thorns And Roses or whipping up a vanilla chia seed and mango pudding, I've adored having a few stolen moments to myself in March.
You may have spotted the pampering Lush picks that I've pulled out too, so that I can indulge in a few more dreamy baths before the weather gets too warm! I've really needed and revelled in a bit of rest, reflection and relaxation this month. And I'm feeling so much better for it!
Vintage style blush satin tea dresses that make me feel like I'm Queenie from Fantastic Beasts, cute red printed floral pieces and whimsical floaty picks - Topshop's Spring dresses are incredible right now! I'm planning on returning a couple (I can't justify keeping them all!) I'll perhaps keep the blush satin pick as it's just so flattering on - but I've enjoyed twirling around in my bedroom trying these beauties on!
