New In For Spring - Beauty & Home

March was abundant with great deals - offer codes and pretty picks galore! I took full advantage of quite a few - I spent my Ndulge points, picked up a few bits in the sales and had a little lush spree too!
It's safe to say that I'm planning on saving up my pennies from now on in April - no more impulse buys!
Here's what I picked up for the new season.

I couldn't resist Space NK's Explore offer, snapping up an old favourite and picking up a couple of new finds.
Firstly, I repurchased the Kiehls Ultra Facial Balm, a richer, thicker, paraben free version of the cult Ultra Facial Cream. I'm having such a tough time with my skin right now - my flat's drying heaters have sapped the moisture right out! I'm in desperate need to inject a little moisture back in and this hydrating pick is ideal - especially now that hayfever has reared up again too! You only need a tiny amount of this warmed up in-between fingers to smooth over your face and neck, it leaves my skin plump, soothed and so soft!

Possibly my most exciting purchase (and potentially the least seasonally appropriate) is my first full sized Becca highlighter - Prismatic Amethyst. Everything from the name, to the holographic packaging, weighty lilac pot and unicorn-esque pigments drew me in. This doesn't look too easy to work with, it's not one that you can just swipe on and go like Becca Opal - but that's actually part of the appeal for me. I can imagine this would pair so well with muted mauves and mattes in autumn  - like MAC Whirl, matte eyeshadows, and applied delicately from the temple to mid-cheekbone. Or matched with minimal make up, dewy skin and a slick of mascara for an ethereal look - it's completely inspired me! The actual product looks potentially quite dry and powdery until blended, then it's divine, so finely milled and shimmery - not glittery at all. I have high hopes for this dreamy highlighter already!

You probably know by now that I'm a huge fan of the Nars lip pencils and so my last pick from Space NK was a Nars Pencil Sharpener. It's the perfect size for sharpening my favourite lip picks and Nars eyeshadow sticks - it also looks like it will fit my NYX Jumbo Eyeliner In Milk too! It has that trademark Nars luxe feel to the packaging - with the exception of it seeming easier to wipe clean than Nars blushers/eyeshadows. I also adore the addition of the little poking stick to clean and dislodge sharpening shards - genius!

From Lush, I picked up another Shampoo bar - Montalbano a fresh, citrus scented pick for spring. This lemony bar is ideal for shiny, glossy tresses, it contains refreshing lemon, soothing rosemary and nourishing, vitamin rich green olives. It leaves hair so shiny and clean!
I also repurchased a pot of Lush Dream Cream, this time opting for the self preserving version - a thicker, creamier pick to the normal Dream Cream. This heavenly, soothing lotion is an essential in my home, it calms parched, unhappy skin with a dreamy blend of oat milk, rose water and chamomile blue oil.

Lastly, for the home I splurged on a gorgeous metallic dipped rose quartz coaster, after missing out on these over Christmas, I'm finally glad to own one of my own now!

What do you think of my picks?
