An August To Do List

1. Get organised and back into a good routine. This year feels like it's just flying past and I've felt so behind and disorganised lately! I really want to re-structure my time this month so that I can successfully meal prep, declutter, sort through my ridiculously full photo library to free up space on my iPhone and get back on top of things! I find the best way for me to be productive is to quite literally map out my days, hour by hour, so I'll be giving this a go again in August!

2. Invest in a couple of fresh, new make up brushes. Snap up this month's Birchbox (mainly for the dreamy Spectrum brush!) and pick up a soft new Zoeva rose gold brush!

3. Pick up a soft, squashy jumper for the transitional days, it's been so cold lately, this berry jumper looks perfect, I love this rose knit cardi too!

4. Keep an eye out for the many celestial wonders this month. Starting with the partial lunar eclipse on the 7th (along with the full Sturgeon moon), Perseid Meteor Shower on the 12/13th and partial solar eclipse on the 21st!

5. Have a break. I have a little time off at the end of August, I'm looking forward to taking a few day-trips, pushing forward with the wedding planning & having some time out to rest!

6. Pick up a new candle, ready for autumn next month. The White Company Autumn Candle sounds divine, I'm such a huge fan of their Winter candle, I can't wait to fill my home with flickering, scented candles again!

7. Debate whether or not to watch the new Great British Bake Off this month. Alex is all for it but I'm not so sure just won't be the same without Mary, Mel & Sue!

8. Find a new staple mascara. I adore the lovely and affordable Essence Princess Lash Mascara (my usual pick) but lately I've found that the tubes have been opened and tested in my local Wilkinsons.  I can never find one that's not been used!
Another Cruelty Free pick, the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara has great reviews and so I think I'll give it a whirl instead!

9. Take a peek at the Elizabeth Scarlett Make up bags on Asos, they're so, so pretty!

10. Buy the H&M blanket. Each year I try to resist these cosy herringbone throws but with my old primark throw looking worse for wear, and my knitted blanket far from complete... I may just treat myself to either the dusky pink or mustard! Remembering how cold my flat got last year I know I'll be grateful when it's colder!

What's on your to do list this month?
