Taking Better Care Of My Skin. Body Care Treats For Autumn.

It's officially autumn next week. Next week! Can you believe it?! The summer has just flown by this year.
I always like to start the prep a little early on as my skin suffers in the cold, dry temperatures.
Last year I got completely caught out by the plummeting temperatures, paired with my electric heaters, they left my skin so sore and parched!
I'll carry on this routine throughout autumn, continually amping up the hydration as we head towards winter, these are my go-to skin saving picks for autumn's colder days!

Starting off with a lip scrub, I like to gently buff and scrub chapped lips with the Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub, a heavenly butter-toffee scented pick. Hydrating coconut and jojoba oil work together with exfoliating sea salt and caster sugar to leave you with supple, soft lips.
During the day, I've been reaching for the By Terry Baume De Rose*, a luxurious treat that tops up moisture levels, keeping my lips soft and plump. It's in a handy tube for on the go, has a delicate rose scent and contains nourishing vitamin e, hyaluronic acid and shea butter.
At night, I opt for a richer, balmier pick, the Nuxe Reve De Miel is a gorgeous balm with honey, sweet almond oil, calendula and shea butter. Dabbed on and worked into the lips before bed, this transforms dry lips - leaving them incredibly soft, supple and smooth, a real must-have!

The Lush Salted Coconut hand scrub is an ideal choice for parched mitts, I'm literally scraping the bottom of this pot, it's one that I'll repurchase for sure! This pampering scrub exfoliates and hydrates with sea salt, lemon, argan oil and coconut oil, leaving my hands silky soft. I simply scoop a little onto my hands and massage in before rinsing off - it's divine!

Afterwards, I pick up my favourite, multi-purpose lotion for hands, knees - any dry patches! Lush Dream Cream is a soothing, nourishing lotion for stressed and unhappy skin and my number one pick for battling dry skin. With oat milk, rose water and chamomile blue oil, it works to treat and heal parched, sensitive skin. I use this on my hands daily, and any dry patches to sooth and heal. If I had to choose one overall favourite from Lush, I'm pretty sure this would be it!

For the body, Lush Scrubee is a cute little in shower pampering treat, a honey-sweet treatment that's both exfoliating and moisturising all in one. Ground almonds and coconut works to scrub and polish whilst shea butter, cocobutter and coconut oil pampers, nourishes and preens.
Then, I'll alternate between the Aveeno Moisturising Creamy Oil Lotion, a beautifully light yet nourishing lotion and Lush Sleepy, a heavenly lotion with skin softening oats, coco butter and calming lavender. An ideal bedtime treat.
