A Few Ways To Perk Up This Dreary January

I love the rain, snow & seeing the crows wade through the thick fog in the early mornings, evoking cosy autumnal days - but the constant drizzly, freezing days paired with the sudden lack of festivities have left my spirits a bit low.
I've rounded up a list of pick me up's for January. For if like me, you're feeling a little bit blue!

1. Keep a journal, to note down the good things in your day - a few stolen moments to watch Friends, finding a steal in the sales or picking up a bunch of fresh blooms. It's something that I've been doing for years now, I just love pouring through the old pages, looking back on all the great things happened in previous years!

2. Check out the Valentines day releases, like the Lush collection - how cute is the little loveboat, this heart bubbleroon too! Also the Diptyque collection and that dreamy Rose Delight candle!

3. Gilmore girls. On repeat, with billowy blankets and hot chocolate.

4. Making allowances. January's sleepy days don't have to be filled with organising, workouts and endless to do lists. Try to make time during winter to rest and recuperate too!

5. Treat yourself to something! A Lush bubble bar, a new candle, or notebook. Even a bunch of tulips to brighten up the home.

6. Keep warm and snug in cosy knits. This gorgeous, fluted sleeve pink jumper looks perfect to curl up in, with a peppermint tea and a good book!

7. Asos Rita bra's. They're amazing. I struggle to find a good bra and these are so pretty and comfortable! They're available in Asos's fuller bust range too!

8. Swoon over the new Charlotte Tilbury releases, the brightening primer and bronze & blush look so beautiful, a dreamy combo.

9. Get some fresh air. Download an audiobook to accompany you on your daily walks.

10. Or try a mindful app - like headspace, or calm.com, schedule in just five minutes for mindfulness before bed.
