Spring Beauty Picks

The foggy morning's, persistent rain - it's felt a lot more like Autumn than Spring this month! The only consolation, inklings of Spring being pink pops of magnolia and blossom against the gloomy skies!
I thought that I'd share a round up of my Spring beauty picks - a few new finds, things I'm trialling and old faves that I'm loving - ready for the slightly warmer season ahead!

The first of my new finds is the Glossier Lidstars. Creamy, glistening eyeshadows, ideal for an effortless wash of colour.
I love these for less make up days, for lazy weekends and built up for sparkling lids - paired with glossy lips and wispy lashes. Simple - effortless, for spring.
Moon is a pretty pale champagne, perfect for an everyday shimmery sheen. I like to wear Moon blended in the inner corner of my eyes, as on it's own it needs a fair few layers before becoming opaque, but the glittery particles and hue are beautiful!
The other shade I picked up - Slip is a gorgeous pink with slight peach tones. This is a little too pink for me, I really should have opted for Cub instead! But, I've been wearing the pair blended together, Moon helps to mute the pink and together they create a gorgeous hue!

On my lips, I've been reaching for the Glossier Generation G lipstick in Cake* -  I adore the formula of these barely there, creamy lipsticks. Cake is a subtle nude with peachy tones, such a flattering hue!
Another Glossier love for me this Spring is the Haloscope in Quartz. A dewy, glossy, vitamin-enriched highlighter with real crystal extracts, this reflects the light beautifully for naturally glowing skin.

For cheeks, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat, a perky coral pink gives a gorgeous, radiant flush to the complexion. Silky soft and finely milled this blends effortlessly and leaves skin looking flawless.

For fragrance -when I'm not drenching/dousing myself in the heavenly Diptyque Eau Duelle (see my ode to it here!)- I've been reaching for the light and beautiful Marc Jacobs Daisy*. The combination of violet, jasmine, strawberry and vanilla is ideal for spring!

I've recently streamlined my skincare products - sticking with the same few picks for my daily routine, products that I know my skin loves and is happy with. Then, by introducing a few new picks - acids, retinoids etc, one at a time, I can target individual skincare issues for continued happy, glowy skin!
I've added the Pixi Peel and Polish to my routine, applying it once a week or so. I've already noticed a difference my skin visibly smoother and clearer. I've also started to use The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2% once a week, ensuring to wear spf daily.

Lastly, on my nails, Essie Eternal Optimist has been my go-to this Spring, a creamy, spiced tea-rose it's a gorgeous pink hue - so pretty, and so flattering on!

What are your fave picks this spring?
