Summer Make Up Picks

I've been reaching for creamy, fuss-free products this month, ideal for quick application - and removal, as even any make up in this heat sometimes feels like too much!
I'm so happy with this selection - I'm in love with these products and the formulas, one of my favourite seasonal round-up's!

This heatwave has wrecked absolute havoc on my skin. Not only is it so parched, but it's been so blemish prone too! The Ren Perfect Canvas* has really helped to sooth my skin, a must-have if I'm wearing make up. This contains probiotics, re-balancing alpha-glucans and leaves my skin soft and smooth, as if I've worn a face mask under my skin all day! The amazing skincare benefits have made this silky primer a saviour for me this summer.

The only powder I've reached for lately is the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder, just a dusting under my eyes has helped set my concealer in place and stopped creasing - not to mention the brightening, subtle shimmer to help hide those telltale late night dark circles!

The latest addition to my collection (and quite possibly my favourite eyeshadow product ever!) is the Charlotte Tilbury Exaggar-Eyes palette - I waited WEEKS for this beautiful palette to come back in stock (now I'm just waiting for the Eyes To Mesmerise in Rose Gold to come back!). With four gorgeous shades, it's the perfect, natural, everyday eyeshadow palette. It's such a shame it's limited edition!
Another Charlotte Tilbury pick, the Eyes to Mesmerise in Jean cream eyeshadow pot has been great for my tired eyes, this creamy, vitamin e enriched champagne eyeshadow blends like a dream and is light and comfortable enough to wear even when my eyes feel sensitive due to the dry heat & pollution!

On my cheeks I've been wearing the Glossier Cloud Paints in Beam and Puff. These creamy peach and pink hues are ideal for summer, they're pigmented, glowy and blend like a dream!
If I do feel like a powder blush, then I've been reaching for my Hourglass Ambient Lightning Blush in Diffused Heat, a pretty, luminous poppy shade, it blurs on the skin for a flawless finish.
And finally the Nyx Away We Glow in Moonbeam, a pretty, sparkling peach highlighter to dab and blend on cheek-bones and high points!

For brows, the Glossier Boy Brow in brown has made brow application so simple. It gives me natural, quick and easy brows that last even in this melting heat!

Lastly for lips, a swipe of the Glossier's Lipgloss is all I've been wearing, perhaps with a dab of cloud paint underneath!

What's in your summer make up bag?
