Five Loves For A Gloomy Autumn Day

Lush Sleepy
The ultimate, soothing scent, this dreamy lavender cream is one of my top picks for autumn - the Sleepy shower cream is high on my wishlist too! I've taken to slathering this on in the mornings, perfect for when you're feeling a bit overwhelmed, when the busy months looming ahead and endless to do's before feel a little too much. This helps me to stay focused and calm, whilst keeping my skin hydrated and soft!

The only lip balm I've been reaching for, and one that I've relied on for years now to keep dry lips in check. A light layer before bed helps me to wake up with plump, soothed and soft lips. I also keep a pot handy on my desk too, I find that one application lasts me until lunch, and then normally I wont need to reapply until bedtime!

Essie Glitters - Set in Stones, Rock at the Top and Leading Lady.
I know... it's still a little early for glitters! But Essie glitters are such mood boosters, and on a dreary autumn day, a sparkling reminder of the exciting events to come!
Rather than applying this as an accent nail, I've been layering up glitters alone, creating a sort of ombre effect starting from the tip of the nail and scattering it to the nail bed, it makes such a pretty mani!

This scent is heavenly! I've posted a full review here - but this is my favourite comfort scent for gloomy autumn days, it's feminine and ideal for the colder weather with warm vanilla, bourbon and spices. For me, the scent feels like what a grand library would smell like, all in all it's such a beautiful perfume!

Another gorgeous wintry fragrance that evokes glistening frosted mornings, warm, comforting spices and a hint of Christmas. Alongside Diptyque Vanille this is quite possibly my favourite ever candle. It's lasted me a good while, although I save this one for a pick me up treat, with cinnamon, clove and orange, it's divine!

Have you tried any of these cosy picks?
